For the past century the medical community has addressed osteoporosis as an inevitable part of the aging process. Technology developed over the past six years may mandate the medical community reevaluate their position on this disease state.
This new modality for therapy and exercise is osteogenic loading, which means the growth of new bone mass through axial loading of the musculoskeletal system. This simple and effective exercise intervention can be widely used and safely prescribed for almost all populations. In addition to improving strength and bone health, subjects using osteogenic loading have greatly increased force production, thereby building the ability to increase balance.

My objection to this book is that it implies that one cannot get hurt, and I did. I'm 65 years old, take no medications, cholesterol and BP are low. I do cardio, weights and yoga daily. My doctor believes I'll live to be "a little old lady." So I was pretty strong starting out at OsteoStrong, and quickly progressed to multiples of my body weight in 3 of the 4 exercises. Frankly, I loved the process, but it was hard on my joints. Too much pressure on my feet lead to a painful bout of plantar fasciitis. The final straw was when I got epicondylitis in both elbows. It's been four months since injury and they still hurt. Am frustrated that I can no longer do many of my strength training exercises that I've done for decades. Honestly, I hope this program continues to succeed for others, but I felt compelled to write about my experience because I wish someone had warned me.Product details

Perfect book for the occasion.
What a fantastic machine John Jaquish has invented - such a boon for people with Osteoporosis who wish to increase their bone density without medication or extensive exercise. Just wish it was more widely available here in Australia.
It is poorly written. It is hard to understand the prose. When you figure out what the author meant to say, it seems it could have been explained more simply.
All the studies in the book show an average of just 4% over 3 years! That's not what is getting parroted all over YouTube.
Read the book going to O steoStrong.
Hope it works for me.
Although pretty technical, it was easy to understand. Liked the Q & A section. Recommend for anyone trying to make a decision on how to handle their osteoporosis.
I admit that I speed read this book -- skipping much of the deep, deep results. However, I was impressed enough with the research and results that when I visited an OsteoStrong facility, I signed on for at least six months! This book -- this methodology and technology should be a true game changer for the way we treat our bones!
